Get started with ANA
If you wish to register to work with Australian Nursing Agency (ANA) then please do so here. You are required to submit along with your registration a copy of your CV, a current Police Check or Working with Children Check, and the names of two professional referees.
To be part of ANA, you have to register and submit the required documentation. Our recruitment staff will evaluate and determine if your meet our criteria. Once this has been established, we will be contacting you to talk about nurse registration. If you are in Australia, we can discuss employment opportunities for you in Melbourne and other parts of the country.
At the interview you will be required to provide the following:
- Your nursing registration certificate with AHPRA (if you already have it)
- Proof of your identity
- Your original qualification
- Proof of any post graduate qualifications
- Evidence of years of service post graduate
- Information on your superannuation fund
- Your tax file number (if you have one)
- Your bank details
- Your immunisation record
- Evidence of having completed your mandatory training for example BLS and manual handling
Once you have provided the required documentation, you will be asked to take a test or a competency assessment. You will either be asked to take a drug calculation test or an assessment related to your field of specialty. If you’re applying for a post as a Mental Health nurse, you will be required to take the necessary evaluation corresponding to your specialisation.
Once you have completed the above process and you have been approved and accepted by our staff you will be ready to start working with us. You will be provided with everything you need and thoroughly inducted into your role in terms of policies, procedures and expectations. You will also be provided with a ‘log on’ to our website which will enable you to adjust your work availability and view information such as pay details.
